The kids got their first haircut today. Well, I have been trimming Jack’s hair a little around the ears but Jo has never had scissors to her hair. We thought it might be a fun thing to do right before she turns 3. I have wanted to cut their hair myself but have been nervous about doing Jack’s. Short hair seems easier to screw up, I guess. So we went and I watched. I could definitely do Jo’s myself but Jack’s seemed more difficult.<\/p>\n

We basically just took a little off the back of Jo’s to make it more straight across. Luckily, she been doing much better about chewing on the shorter hairs around her face. I can’t wait until they grow out so it won’t be so tempting…<\/p>\n

The place we went was fun with carousel horses and trucks for the chairs. There were an unfortunate number of TV screens… but I guess some kids need distraction. Luckily, these two did a great job!<\/p>\n
