Some friends from storytime got together at the park today. Jo is covered in dirt and we brought home a cool looking stick to show Daddy. The weather couldn’t have been better. It was a huge success.

Sonny is pretty happy with Jo’s new way of eating. It provides lots of fun things to try that are cut up into Sonny-sized bits. And really, it is less to clean up so we are all pretty happy.

…so the rain does not tatter your wings? Today we watched a fantastic puppet performance of Anansi and the Golden Box of Stories at the library. Sorry you couldn’t be with us, Daddy! It is one of his favorites. Anansi about to capture Osebo the leopard  

Genius that I am, I turned my phone sideways towards the end of the video. But Jo still got a really good wave in to the kids on the school bus so I had to share. It was a gloriously beautiful day in Austin today!

Jo loves to point. So when she is done eating and is ready to get up she starts pointing to random objects in the kitchen. We have a world and a US map hanging on the wall. We frequently look at it and point out things. Today she said map after she pointed to it. […]

Today we got to take a tour of the Mother’s Milk Bank, a nonprofit here in Austin that gets donated breast milk to premature babies all over the country. We have shared just over 100 ounces of milk with them so far.

This little girl amazes me every day. We have standing and cruising pretty much down when we are in the right mood.
