Obligatory baby pumpkin pictures!

Jo attended her first Wildflower Center Fall Plant Sale. She was a great help in picking out what we should plant this fall. Then we went to the McKinney Falls Fest and to see Old Baldy, the bald cypress tree that was awarded City of Austin’s 2012 Tree of the Year. The Forestry Service measured Old Baldy at 103 ft tall with a 16 ft 3 in circumference. The root system is about two school bus lengths in all directions while its trunk hosts a colony of honey bees!

Finally, we hit up the pumpkin patch in Elgin! Unfortunately, none of the coz posse could make it due to being under the weather. Jo had a great time, but taking pictures was difficult because she couldn’t stop looking around at all the exciting things. 🙂
