Our friends and family have helped us raise almost $900 for my father’s memorial fund through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention which will go towards funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for related public policies, and supporting those affected by suicide. I so appreciate everyone’s generosity and support.

On Tuesday, May 9th, my father ended his long struggle. I am sick with sadness but privileged to have a wonderful support system. My family is having a private memorial service this weekend. The seventh wedding anniversary gifts are copper and wool. As in everything, our gifts compliment each other well. Wool felted swans and a copper bosun’s whistle. But the most important gift this year is his support and strength during dark times. I am so very lucky to have found Paul Swan.
