I said something along the lines of, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t know you were so big to do that all by yourself! What are you, 3 or something? Pretty soon you won&#8217;t need me at all.&#8221; I have said things like this before and she never batted an eye. Tonight she started unraveling a little more than normal over little things. When I asked why she thought she was getting so upset, she let it slip a few times that she didn&#8217;t want to grow up. I told her that I was almost 33 and I still hadn&#8217;t grown up so she had awhile. She laughed and seemed to feel a little better.<\/p>\n<p>Then as we were getting ready for bed, she said, &#8220;Mommy, even when I grow up and drive, I am going to need you and not move to my own house.&#8221; \ud83d\ude00 Paul talked about how he still needs Gramma and Bucka and I talked about how I called Mimi that very morning for something and about how Papa is going to come stay with Sonny for me while we take our trip to the beach with our cousins. I told her, &#8220;You always need your mommy and daddy and they are always there for you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And it is oh so true.
