Jo gets a little worried and upset when the alphabet falls out of the coconut tree. She squishes her face and makes a sad moaning sound. Some of the letters are “about to cry” and some have bandages. She has now started calling any bumps or scrapes she might have a boom. Somehow she got a small scratch on one of her toes and has told us several times about her “boom”. It is pretty adorable.

And the other day I realized that our copy of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was signed by Bill Martin, Jr. to Aunt Mei Mei! Pretty neat. Mary, you can have it back any time. 🙂
