Jo’s (and mine!) favorite show to watch right now is PBS’s Peg + Cat. Peg and her cat solve all kinds of problems using math! There are lots of great games on the PBS website associated with the show. Her favorite one is called Peg’s Pizza Parlor. Characters from the show tell how many of what kind of toppings they want and you count out the toppings. So tonight she helped me make a real pizza. I made the dough and the sauce but Jo helped place the toppings. She loved doing it and ate more of it than she probably would have otherwise.
