While we were making our Grandparents Day cards to send in the mail, we (naturally) also made a card for Owl. I wrote Owl on the front just like I had for Mimi’s, Papa’s, and Gramma & Bucka’s. I handed Jo the cards so that she could add her own embellishments.

She hands me Owl’s card. “Um, Jo, did you just write owl?”

And then Mimi’s… “Um, Jo did you just write your name?” Actually, she had just written the J. Paul asked if she could write an O after to finish writing her name.
