Otherwise known as Mayfield Park. It was a glorious day in Austin. So whoever was getting married at Mayfield Park today must have had a lovely wedding. It put a slight damper on our Peacock Park plans, but we hiked the trail and had a nice little picnic. Aww come on, Mom.

Dance classes are going much better! She talks about it all week, taps on a wooden board I put in the middle of the living room, and pretends to be Ms. Anne (her teacher) doing stretches. Special thanks to grandparents, Auntie Abbie, and cousins for providing lots of excitement, encouragement and support.

We went today to the Wild Flower seed stomp at the LBJ ranch. Not much event to the event, but we had fun spreading seeds and marching them in to the ground.   b

Mommy got some ballet shoes at a consignment sale this morning. With the tap shoes from Aunt Abbie and these, we are ready for dance class! 😀

This post is pretty late. We had a wonderful time at Tom and Becca’s wedding! So many pictures. Here is a very, very, very, very small sampling. 🙂

The second week of dance class went much, MUCH better!!! Thank you, Bucka, for coming up to walk around the indoor track with Jack in the stroller. And having Alex and Aunt Abbie in the same class really helped! We had a blast! Shall we dance, coz? Note Owl’s matching tutu. Thank you, Mimi. 🙂

While we were making our Grandparents Day cards to send in the mail, we (naturally) also made a card for Owl. I wrote Owl on the front just like I had for Mimi’s, Papa’s, and Gramma & Bucka’s. I handed Jo the cards so that she could add her own embellishments.     She hands […]
