The kids got their first haircut today. Well, I have been trimming Jack’s hair a little around the ears but Jo has never had scissors to her hair. We thought it might be a fun thing to do right before she turns 3. I have wanted to cut their hair myself but have been nervous about doing Jack’s. Short hair seems easier to screw up, I guess. So we went and I watched. I could definitely do Jo’s myself but Jack’s seemed more difficult.

We basically just took a little off the back of Jo’s to make it more straight across. Luckily, she been doing much better about chewing on the shorter hairs around her face. I can’t wait until they grow out so it won’t be so tempting…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The place we went was fun with carousel horses and trucks for the chairs. There were an unfortunate number of TV screens… but I guess some kids need distraction. Luckily, these two did a great job!
